S4VOR ("we," "us," or "our") operates the S4VOR platform at s4vor.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform. By using S4VOR, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password. When you place an order, we collect your delivery address and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store your full card number). When you join a waitlist or make a reservation, we collect your name, phone number, and party size. Restaurant owners provide restaurant details, menu information, and business contact information.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Platform, we may collect device information (browser type, operating system), IP address, pages visited, and usage patterns. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and improve the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and operate the Platform, including processing orders, managing waitlist entries, and handling reservations. Communicate with you about your orders, reservations, and account. Send SMS notifications for waitlist and reservation updates (with your consent). Provide restaurants with customer management data to improve their service. Improve, maintain, and secure the Platform. Comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

With restaurants

When you interact with a restaurant (place an order, join a waitlist, or make a reservation), your name, phone number, email, and relevant interaction details are shared with that restaurant so they can fulfill your order, manage your waitlist entry, or confirm your reservation. Restaurants may use this data in their customer management system on S4VOR.

With service providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform: Stripe for payment processing, MongoDB Atlas for data storage, Twilio for SMS notifications, and Render for hosting. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations to protect your data.

We do not sell your data

S4VOR does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Restaurant Customer Data

S4VOR provides restaurants with a customer management system (CRM) that tracks customer interactions, order history, visit frequency, and spending. This data is visible only to the specific restaurant the customer interacted with. Restaurants may add tags and notes to customer records. Restaurants may export their customer data via CSV.

S4VOR does not charge restaurants to access their customer data. Customer data access is and will always be free.

6. Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you enter payment information, it is transmitted directly to Stripe's secure servers. S4VOR does not receive, process, or store your full credit card number. For more information, see Stripe's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or business purposes (such as transaction records).

9. Your Rights

10. Cookies

S4VOR uses cookies for essential functionality: maintaining your login session, storing preferences, and ensuring the Platform works correctly. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from third-party ad networks.

11. Children's Privacy

S4VOR is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to users via email or a notice on the Platform.
